A talk by Dr. Eugene White, Superintendent of Indianapolis Publis Schools
When: Wednesday 2 November, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Where: North United Methodist Church, N. Meridian St. at 38th St. Indianapolis
No one is more important to the future of public education in Indianapolis than the new Superintendent of IPS, Dr. Eugene White. Check out the interview from last month’s NUVO for a sense of his vision. This talk will address questions such as whether public education has a future (I think he’ll say “yes”); what will be the effects of such factors as standardized testing, private and charter schools, home schooling, language barriers, broken families, and disciplinary problems. Should be a good one.
