When: Monday 26 September, 7:30-9:00 PM
Where: Butler University, Atherton Union Building 4600 Sunset Ave. Indianapolis
Peter Brown is associate professor of archeology and paleoanthropology, University of New England, Australia. He led a team that discovered Homo floresiensis, a small, human-like species that lived 18,000 years ago on a remote Indonesian island — possibly the most important discoveries in recent evol

Dr. Brown has carried out research into the evolution and geographic variation of people in the Australian and Asian regions. His research has centered, most recently, on human remains from China, Japan, India and Indonesia.Sponsored by Butler University's J. James Woods Lectures in the Sciences and Mathematics Series
