A discussion with architect Daniel Libeskind
When: Wednesday 16 October, 7:30-9:30 PM
Where: Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center, 6701 Hoover Road, Indianapolis
Winner of the Master Plan Design for the World Trade Center site, Daniel Libeskind is one of the world’s most admired and most controversial architects. The renowned architect introduces his iconoclastic approach to public space and shares his vision for the most important architectural project of our time, the 1776 Freedom Tower at the World Trade Center site. Drawing on his uncommon background and global perspective, in Breaking Ground Daniel Libeskind explores ideas about tragedy and hope, and the way in which architecture can memorialize-and reshape-human experience.
