Health Care Conundrum:A Call for Leadership"

The 2006 Business Conference will bring together five national figures drawn from the health insurance, pharmaceutical, managed care, health care, and manufacturing sectors whose organizations and professions have a stake in this pressing issue and engage them in a robust search for solutions. The luncheon address will provide a broad public policy, capstone perspective on the matters addressed during the morning panel discussion.
These guys (and when you have power concentrated at this level you can be confident that
the wielders will be guys) are going to have to be part of any solution.

The morning session will present a robust, moderated discussion between five chief executives drawn from the pharmaceutical, health insurance, health care/hospital, and manufacturing industries. The following speakers will be challenged to step outside the narrow confines of their respective industry views and begin the process of building the broad coalition that resolution of the health care conundrum will require.

- Michael B. McCallister: President and CEO, Humana Inc.
- Daniel F. Evans, Jr.: President and CEO, Clarian Health Partners
